A tutor of many subjects, I find history to be my biggest passion. I have helped struggling students be prepared by the time they take standardized tests. Preparing for the Critical Reading and Writing parts is the most fun and I've helped many students experience remarkable advancements in this area. I've taught argumentative and explanatory historical writing to many different students with a range of different capabilities. Education is essential for improving quality of life. I reflect this philosophy to all the students I tutor.Other subjects I tutor in include European history; world history; reading at the 9th, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade levels; study skills and organization; and public speaking.I earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Montclair State University, graduating with honors. My graduate degree in Educational Leadership was obtained from the College of New Jersey. I maintained a 4.0 GPA here. Ever since, I have taught world and American history from inclusion to the Advanced Placement level. I teach economics as well.My life has been enriched by reading. I also find spare time to watch and play baseball and go running, while spending precious time with my Golden Retriever.
