Experience
I was a Center Director for Sylvan Learning Centers for 11 years where I spent much time tutoring reading, writing, and study skills. I also taught SAT verbal prep and trained, evaluated, and prepared other tutors to work with students. I currently manage a tutoring center at the university level and regularly teach study skills. I enjoy tutoring at the 1:1 level and enjoy seeing a tutee's skills, confidence, and self-esteem increase as they learn what it takes to be independently successful.
